So sorry I havent updated this in a while. I'll get things back in order...eventually :)

First off, thank you all who attended the funeral service for Tommy Hatthaway. It was very nice, in my eyes at least, to see the scouts show their support, attending in their uniforms. I know that the family appreciated it.

Now for the remaining events for March 2008.

Cub Scout Day at Camp Charles
December 1, 2007

This day will provide Cub Scouts the opportunity to shoot BB guns, bows, and do some crafts. The even is open to all registered Cub Scouts and Scouters. Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos are welcome.

The event will take place on Saturday, December 1st at Camp Charles Scout Reservation in Bailey, NC. Check in begins at 8:00 am from 9:00 am on Saturday. The event concludes at 5:00 pm.

The cost is $15.00 and includes lunch and patch. The even must have 30 Cub Scouts registered by November 23rd for the event to take place. One adult is free for every 8 Cub Scouts who participate; all other adults are $10.00.

Caswell District Annual Awards Banquet

The annual Awards and Recognition Banquet's purpose is to recognize and thank all the adult leaders in Caswell District who make scouting happen. All boys who have achieved the rank of Eagle and/or earned their God and Country Awards will are also recognized.

This year, the Banquet will be take place on Monday, November 5, 2007. Doors open at 6:30 PM; the program begins at 7:00 PM.
It will be held at King's Restaurant in Kinston, NC.

Any adult leader in Caswell District or supporters of Scouting attend the banquet. Boys and their families who have received their Eagle rank and/or God and Country award since October 2006 also attend.

The cost is $12.00 in advance- Price includes meal.
$20.00 after November 1st until November 4th.

First off, thank you to all who participated this past weekend at the Fall Ordeal.

Secondly, just a friendly reminder of the Scout Day with the ECU Pirates is this Saturday, 10/27/07. If you havent picked up your tickets, please do so at the Scout Shop. ECU will host the University of Alabama Birmingham Blazers. The game starts at 3:00 PM at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
